At night I still see their faces
Scrambling over the concrete
Dragged away
By Citizen Leather,
Enchained,
Smoking out their rat-holes
With gas and brass.
They came from the sea
Big eyes wide and mouths agape
So hungry,
And nothing to feed them,
Forked tongues,
Speaking to their children
Underwater forever
The city underneath my dwelling
Hums alive
With the thrum of engines
Thundering through
its cabled veins.
Where nothing remains
From the ricin and lies.
They were not prepared for us.
All marched forward,
All had turned to dust.
We kept the promise to our leaders
Drown the victims, drown the children.
We poison:
the water.
Poison the food.
Poison the words used for weapons
When they’ve none themselves
They’re an empty vessel without context
No hope and no contact
Drive insane
From the sight of their numbers
We are many armed
Many eyed
Stay inside
Like rats walled in mortar
We are many armed
Many eyed
Screaming into the one-side void
nodding grinning in unison
All day.
Black noise like a beat
Club battery
Pounding out the message
Breaking down the door
Blue light, blue light keeping me
awake at night Decoding hum in
Ratio decay
Message in a message
Filtered
We know who you talk to
And we see you when you dream
We speak in reflections
Of the past.
Dilute
The language til we’ve
Nothing but verbs.
Fight for you
Is life for me
Your born is my die
Drive insane
From the sight of their numbers
We are many armed
Many eyed
Stay inside
Like rats walled in mortar
We are many armed
Many eyed
The madness keeps coming
The bombs keep falling
Secret meetings discovered
Words you couldn’t hide
Everything’s been undone
By the electric eye
Swore
To approach the savior
With a fist
Cage
The future lopped off
At the wrist
Never was the consequence so high
I rewrote the sequence we severed
Truth
Cannot be scarred no matter

This album is great. Most songs have a beat you think would be a club hit until Brian starts singing with his shrill voice about animals. I love that he keeps the theme of animals for the whole album its stupid and genius at the same time. Best songs Rock the Quokka, Vampire Squid, Axolotl Super Powers (feat. MC Lars), Go-Away-Bird, Lungfish, Naked Mole-Rat (Pink and Furtive) (feat. FIRES) and Gila Monsters. GeneralLeeStupid
