Here we are in empty ruined corridors
Clean, pristine, scuff-free and more
Here we are a couple freaks still standing
The rats will finish up the job for sure
This won't be the place our paths converge to
But rest assured the fall it isn't steep
I promise that I'll force myself to fit in place
And swear to god a promise I will keep
The drugs do not work
As if they ever could
As if they ever would
Staring into space
A fragile tattered line
According to design
And I'm rushing ever after
And I'm rushing ever faster
To the end
The drugs still don't work
As if they ever could
As if they ever would
Blindly into space
No city hill divine
Just chaos by design
For all of their deceit
And all of their mistakes
Reserve of endless breaks
No crumb of succor shares
The struggle to endure
Leave that to the poor
While I keep rushing ever after
I'm rushing ever faster
To the end

This album is great. Most songs have a beat you think would be a club hit until Brian starts singing with his shrill voice about animals. I love that he keeps the theme of animals for the whole album its stupid and genius at the same time. Best songs Rock the Quokka, Vampire Squid, Axolotl Super Powers (feat. MC Lars), Go-Away-Bird, Lungfish, Naked Mole-Rat (Pink and Furtive) (feat. FIRES) and Gila Monsters. GeneralLeeStupid
