Behind closed doors gargantuan sins orchestrate obscene wealth,
Puppet strings playing out the tragedy of a species on the wane,
The conductors of morally decrepit symphonies set the tempo of surging power,
Draining life from the seething pit of humanity, inhumane.
Oblivious, the players see only their own gain,
And not the ripples of their deeds endlessly radiating,
The Silent Shouter on the Hill distends jaws in empty screams,
Deep below tentacles and tendrils awaken, twitching.
The Devourer in the Mist stirs to the echoes of all consuming progress,
The Bloody Crooked One's pawns play their sadist parts,
From their ivory towers unknowingly above He of the Ivory Throne,
Wringing bloody hands, beating blackened hearts.
Corporate palaces funded by capitalist excess,
Obscenely towering above diseased foundations,
Taunting The Waiting Dark from eons of slumber,
As it recognises the stench of corruption.
The Great Manipulator begins to scheme,
Sensing humankind's morality failing,
Self destructive imperialism seethes,
Eater of Dreams salivating and Blind Idiot God wailing.
Halls of doors cracked open by croniest deals,
The Treader in the Dust feeds on the pain of the subjugated,
The unwitting spectating masses assemble,
The Zombifying Essence seizes a moment long awaited.
Consumerism and convenience driven evils,
The God in a Box that everyone craves,
Beats a drum for The Harbinger of Doom,
The Great Manipulator ushers us to our graves.
We we entomb our waste in the crust of the earth,
Strangle the oceans with vile effluent,
And fill the heavens with technological junk,
We beckon The Bringer of Pestilence.
Chorus:
We ring the bells of our own demise,
Our horrors open The Destroying Eye,
The Fallen Wisdom readies her spawn,
As we seal our own fate and bring a new dawn.

This album is great. Most songs have a beat you think would be a club hit until Brian starts singing with his shrill voice about animals. I love that he keeps the theme of animals for the whole album its stupid and genius at the same time. Best songs Rock the Quokka, Vampire Squid, Axolotl Super Powers (feat. MC Lars), Go-Away-Bird, Lungfish, Naked Mole-Rat (Pink and Furtive) (feat. FIRES) and Gila Monsters. GeneralLeeStupid
